“Netflix and chill,” a term that blew up on social media this year, now has its own app geared toward its meaning. Titled TikiTalk, the iPhone/iPad program hosts a feature highlighting the hookup phrase, but also boasts more categories like “Get Sushi,” “Get Brunch” or just to simply start a conversation with someone you’re interested in.
The subjects are also described as ice breaker methods, to start off your one-on-one interactions with something comical, like “Netflix and chill.”
In an interview with Fusion, Daniel Ahn, co-founder of the aforementioned app, said the launch of TikiTalk came at the right time following the popularity of the slogan. “Netflix and chill is just so funny,” he said. “It was everything we were about. Sending someone an invite or whatever, you can make them smile.”
Social media users have already coined the phrase, taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their meme creations.
