Good American Reveals Open Casting Call Winners

Good American has announced the seven winners of its fifth annual Open Casting model contest in its new Spring 2023 campaign

The Los Angeles-based brand, co-founded by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, received over 40,000 submissions for the modeling contest that it holds each year to identify real women to represent it and join its #GoodSquad community.

The 2023 winners are Ketara Narcisse, Tanisha Link, Ayanna Nelson, Lauren Cannon, Rimshah Asghar, Carly Childers and Amanda Diaz Rojas. The women come from Florida, Kentucky and California in the U.S. and Manchester and London in the U.K. Each woman is featured on Good American’s website with links to their Instagram accounts.

In the campaign, the winners wear the Fit For Success jumpsuit, Always Fits Good Waist jeans and Good ’90s Weightless jeans, as well as faux leather looks.

In addition to starring in the size inclusive brand’s campaign, they will receive mentorship sessions and movement classes with industry professionals at agency Natural Models in L.A. where they will also have the chance to be signed.

The content launched last October calling for aspiring models to upload two images and a video to Good American’s website, and to complete a questionnaire. Women could also apply in person during public tour dates in London, New York, Atlanta and L.A.

“Good American was founded on the principles of inclusivity and diversity” said Grede. “The fashion industry has been built on standards of exclusivity, catering only to specific body types, and representing a sometimes unrealistic body ideal—we’re here to change that.”

Good American’s new partners for the search were Zoom Events, an all-in-one virtual and hybrid events management platform, and the label’s U.S. retail partner, Revolve. Klarna, the shopping and payment service, returned as a co-sponsor.
