Reebok’s Latest Animated Collab Channels Preschool Fave Peppa Pig

Following releases inspired by Kung Fu Panda, Tom and Jerry and Minions, Reebok is channeling yet another animated franchise popular with the preschool crowd.

This time, the footwear giant has partnered with Hasbro to release a colorful collection inspired by the British show Peppa Pig. Reebok’s first kids-only collaboration with the toy company will go on sale Monday and feature five silhouettes in a mix of toddler and preschool sizes.

The Reebok x Peppa Pig collection will include a bright yellow Classic Leather shoe as a nod to Peppa’s signature rainboots. A teal detail on the midsole references porcine Peppa’s penchant for splashing in puddles. Little brother George and his dinosaur “Dine-Saw” inspire a blue-and-green Complete Clean. A red-and-pink CL Jogger reflects the coloring of Peppa herself, while a light brown fur collar nods to her favorite teddy. A white Club C is dotted with drawings that resemble Peppa’s universe, some just outlines to allow kids to color in the shoes themselves. The pink-and-white Club C Slip-On, only available in toddler’s sizes, includes a crown graphic for children like Peppa who love to dress up like a princess.

Except for the Classic Leather and preschool Club C, which both come with traditional laces, all shoes are either slip-ons or feature hook-and-loop straps. The shoes will be available on Reebok’s website with prices starting at $40.

The Peppa Pig lineup will arrive a month after Reebok’s Kung Fu Panda capsule. The collection featured four footwear silhouettes, each with adult sizes and most also with grade school, preschool and toddler options. A full apparel selection with hoodies, crew sweaters, short-sleeve tees and sweatpants complemented the sneaker lineup.

Also last month, graphic tee company Junk Food Clothing, in partnership with Nickelodeon, the NFL and ViacomCBS Consumer Products, dropped a collection of football-themed SpongeBob SquarePants apparel. Designed by Philadelphia-based contemporary artist King Saladeen, the release included short-sleeve T-shirts and hooded fleeces for adults and children.
