Joe’s Jeans Updates Foster Sisters Collaboration for Fall Launch

Joe’s Jeans is breathing new life into a collection that was originally slated to launch earlier this year.

This week, the brand is launching its collaboration with Erin and Sara Foster, stars of VH1’s scripted comedy show “Barely Famous,” after having to postpone production due to Covid-19. In February, the brand announced the collaboration, which was slated to launch in April.

Now that restrictions have eased and production has resumed, Joe’s is repackaging its offerings for fall. The “Favorite Daughter for Joe’s” collection features the sisters’ favorite jeans, including the Erin, a high-rise straight leg and The Sara, a super high-rise skinny, in three different washes.

In addition to jeans, the collection offers a cargo pant and a cashmere crewneck sweater embroidered with “Favorite Daughter,” a play on the sisters’ relationship with their father, Grammy-winning producer David Foster. The sweater is available in nine colors.

And with fashion brands stepping up to encourage voter turnout in November, Joe’s added two election-themed T-shirts to the line, with 25 percent of the proceeds for each shirt directed to Vote.org.

“With the world around us changing so rapidly, our goal is to be mindful as we work to evolve the brand,” said Suzy Biszantz, Joe’s Jeans CEO. “The Foster sisters are authentic and honest with an unmatched sense of humor our consumer truly identifies with. They thoughtfully engage their community of followers and regularly advocate for social issues that resonate deeply with them.”

The collection retails from $40-$298. The cashmere sweaters are available now. The rest of the collection launches Oct. 1.
