Ohio-based Zace Denim pivoted from denim to mask production after founder Zach Myers learned of the mask shortage throughout the nation. Its first prototype featured Army ripstop material and elastic ear loops. The brand has since debuted an improved version with an adjustable nose piece, dual layers and a dual head strap for added comfort.
Citizens of Humanity Cotton Masks (5 pack)
Citizens of Humanity re-purposed its sewing facility to produce masks for front line responders, and has since made them available to the public. Consumers can purchase a five-pack, which includes an assortment of black, raw denim, washed denim and tan colors, and dual head ties.
Reformation 5X Masks—LA Protects
Reformation teamed with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to produce five million non-medical masks for workers providing essential services through the crisis, and they’re now available to the public as part of the LA Protects initiative. Shoppers can buy up to two packs of five masks, which have head ties and vary in fabric.
Hudson Jeans Face Mask (3 Pack)
Hudson Jeans recently began selling masks to benefit PATH’s COVID-19 fund, a SoCal nonprofit providing lifesaving services to the homeless and others in need. The brand is offering a pack of three face masks created from upcycled fabric, and each set contains one denim mask and two others made from an assortment of prints.
Lucky Brand 5 Pack Pleated Cotton Face Masks
Lucky Brand has already sold out of its first batch of 4,000 masks made in accordance with the specs of LA Protects. For every five masks sold, Lucky Brand will donate five to essential workers and members of the local community. Masks feature pleated fabric and tie straps.
Sanctuary 5 Pack Fashion PPE Masks
Sanctuary offers a five-pack of masks in a mix of unisex camouflage and leopard prints. They feature elastic loops and a nose wire for comfort. With each mask purchased, the brand donates masks to organizations in need.
Tala by Tala Alamuddin Le Masque
Tala Alamuddin, founder of the fashion brand Tala by Tala Alamuddin and sister of human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, got involved in the mask movement in early March with a collection of stylish face masks available in denim, leopard and camouflage prints. A portion of the proceeds go to The Red Cross Singapore to support those affected by the coronavirus.
Alice + Olivia Protective Face Mask
Alice + Olivia’s masks feature bold prints and ear loops. Once one print sells out, the brand shifts to a new fabric that’s features on its website. For every mask sold, the brand will donate one to communities in need.

J.Crew offers sets of three face masks in its signature striped, gingham and end-on-end fabrics. Masks feature elastic ear loops and an opening for a removable filter. In partnership with Madewell, J.Crew supplied 75,000 single-use masks to Montefiore Health System hospitals in New York.
