Brie Larson Takes Home The Oscar For Best Actress In Gucci

Brie Larson said she’s been dreaming of this night since she was seven years old while walking the red carpet earlier in the night. It looks like dreams really do come true.

Larson has won the Academy Award for Best Actress In A Leading Role for her performance in “Room.”

For the Oscars, Larson opted for a Gucci gown and matching Gucci sandals.

Throughout the entire awards season Larson has brought her A game to the red carpet. Footwear News caught up with her stylist, Cristina Ehrlich, ahead the Oscars. “It has been such a journey of discovery with Brie this season, finding what works best for her personal style in balance with who she is on the red carpet.”

Larson’s go-to shoe looks include Roger Vivier, Paul Andrew and Ferragamo. “These represent the range that is Brie’s style, which is luxurious and classic with a defined edge,” said Ehrlich.

Over the weekend, Larson won Best Female Lead at 2016 Independent Spirit Awards wearing Chanel and Casadei sandals. She also had one of her best looks at the SAG Awards in an Atelier Versace gown and Roger Vivier silver sandals.
